Looking through a family photo album, dreading the inevitable onset of war. I know it was coming but they didn't. The "patriot cape" and forage cap appearing on the women in 1938 foreshadowing the conflict. A pervasive sense of doom, of foreboding and disaster. I know and they don't, they forever don't and I do.
