BREAD AND ROCKS

A FRIEND DROPPED BY for a visit, and commented on the shop next door. "What a great name. Bread and Rocks. I'm a Bread and Roses fan. I shop at the Bread Collective." He got all wrapped up in the curious comparison. The store next door sells beads and rocks. Some fossils. Its name is "Beads and Rocks." It does not sell bread. We hear what we are able to hear. We see what we want to see.
