Part of growing up is the discovery that you can't have everything you want. The next part is the realization that you can't have anything you want, because the things you really want are not available to mortals. The last part of growing up is acceptance of the human condition; and perhaps if you grow up enough, you will even be able to laugh about it. I am not at this point just yet.
